NEW DIETARY INGREDIENT Approved by the US FDA

With more than ten years of time-consuming and laborious efforts in manifesting the functions and safety, we proudly announce that our NEW red yeast rice extract (ANKASCIN 568-R) has been approved by the US FDA as an NEW DIETARY INGREDIENT (NDI, report # 855).

 As the US FDA and many studies have been long warning that traditional red yeast rice and its main active component (monacolin K/statins) have risks of rhabdomyolysis, liver damage, and acute kidney injury, etc., we have managed to innovate and successfully produced the new red yeast rice that contains high levels of new active components (Monascin and Ankaflavin) without any risky monacolin K. These components have been proven to be effective in managing blood lipids, blood sugar, blood pressure, and improving symptoms of Alzheimer’s disease through many animal tests and clinical trials. NDI approval shows that the US FDA acknowledges and accepts ANKASCIN 568-R as a safe dietary ingredient at the dose of 0.11 g once or twice a day.
